The best accomadation in Manchester

My husband and I recently exhibited at The Baby Show in Event City and stayed with Paul at Ivy Mount for three nights. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to other trade show exhibitors. We arrived really late every night, which wasn't a problem as there are ingenious key safes by the front door. Even though we could have used the Metro we chose to drive to Event City every day and it took us less than 10 minutes. The breakfast Paul provides certainly sets you up for the day - full English, toast, tea and cereal. Our room was spotless and plenty of tea/coffee/fluffy towels etc. I agree with all the other reviewers that Paul is really welcoming and friendly - but never 'in your face'. We'll be exhibiting next year and will certainly stay at Ivy Mount - but in the meantime we are going to pop back to stay there with our kids as the transport links into Manchester are excellent. Over the past month I have stayed at Ivy Mount for 3 weekends as I was doing a course locally. I stayed in 2 different rooms during my stay - both clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, i dont particularly like spending time away form my family and both Paul and he wife made my time away from home a bit more bearable. I enjoyed the chats over breakfast, which was made to order and I felt no rush to eat my breakfast or leave my room in the morning, as my course did not start till late morning. Overall my stay at Ivy Mount has been a enjoyable and have no hestitation in recomending this lovely guest house
